AfriScan reflects a simple purpose: use geospatial evidence to help people see places, patterns and change across African landscapes more clearly.
Founded by Philip Atta Afriyie, the company combines GIS, remote sensing, Earth observation, environmental data and artificial intelligence where these methods improve the quality or usefulness of the analysis.
Within CropIntel, machine-learning methods support the development of agricultural intelligence, while deep-learning models are being integrated and evaluated as suitable field data become available.
